In an effort to help South Africans living abroad come home, and foreign investors to relocate, JAG Investments has joined forces with Leana Nel International Relocations. The new alliance between the two companies was announced at an event in the Steenberg Hotel in Constantia recently.
JAG Investments has widespread international dealings with businesses and hopes to promote foreign investment in South Africa. JAG founder Greg James was so impressed with Leana Nels attention to detail in his own relocation that he realized this would be the perfect alliance to form with JAG Investments.
“I welcome any initiative to bring South Africans back home. Leana Nel not only makes the process a smooth one, but by supporting her we support the South African economy,” he said.
“Also, as an investor, I know that a country’s biggest asset is its people. South Africa has a bright future and by bringing South Africans back home and encouraging foreign investors to settle here, we encouraging job creation and a sharing of experience to take place. In fact, skills transfer is an important aspect of my company. With our varied client interactions across the globe, we are not only able to add value to the service we give clients but also broaden the available skills pool,” James said.
Leana Nel has been relocating people for more than 10 years. Her company was chosen as the preferred relocation company for the Homecoming Revolution. Based in Cape Town, Sandton and the United Kingdom, she offers clients a complete service that advises them on every aspect of their relocation. “Whether a client would like to start a business or retire and enjoy what South Africa has to offer, the choice is theirs. There are different options available to individuals who wish to reside in South Africa whether temporarily or permanently,” Nel said.
JAG Investment Group has also recently acquired Macleod Properties, a leading real estate company operating in the Constantia area for the past 42 years.
“JAG Investments specializes in identifying, managing and turning around ventures with a strong focus on sharing expertise and knowledge. These two recent additions to our portfolio of services can only enhance one another and ensure a high standard of delivery to all our clients,” James said.
He is a chartered accountant who has worked extensively overseas in the coal industry. His decision to return to South Africa was an easy one, and he has since then been focusing on up-and-coming BEE companies.
