The JAG Sports and Education Foundation was officially launched on 03 April 2007. The Sports Foundation is closely linked to the New York Road Runners Foundation and the Tegla Loroupe Peace Foundation in Kenya.

Through Sport and Education to give young people opportunities and pride in themselves to achieve their potential and to contribute to peace in South Africa and the upliftment of our nation’s social well being.
Mission
Through our Foundation and the alliances we form, we make a difference to the young people through value and community-based sporting and educational programs.
We motivate and give the young people a sense of pride, belonging and achievement to overcome the challenges they face to strive towards their dream.

- To give the youth opportunities and enhance personal development and pride to achieve their potential
- To engage kids in a program structure that teaches values and enhances self-esteem, self-discipline, perseverance, focus and sportsmanship
- To promote peace and social upliftment as well as the promotion of positive role models
- To identify youth with potential and to create opportunities enabling them to achieve their true potential.
